Last week CommGap CEO Lelani Craig attended an event held on Capitol Hill which was co-hosted by the National Committee for Languages and the National Council for Languages and International Studies and the Association of Language Companies and Leadership Forum. CommGap was invited to attend, and to share their unique experiences in the language service industry, and how languages matter for international security and economic growth. Specifically, the companies present gathered in support of the Harmonization of Coverage Act, enforcement of proper contracting procedures for knowledge-based services, a re-assessment of current wage rates and the methodology of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and fair enforcement of the Service Contracting Act.
