The event was sponsored by big industry names like SDL (Trados) and Smartcat. The ALC Conf is a place for CEO and C-Level executives from the Language Industry to meet to discuss, share, learn, and network. Participants met with congressmen and other government representatives at Capitol Hill, and also joined in round-table discussions and training on topics such as communication and the role of artificial intelligence in sales. Lelani said the following of the event: “As a member of the Board of Directors for the ALC, I had the privilege to attend, host, and present during our annual event. This year, we had the highest attendance ever, and the event was a total success. I look forward to our 2020 UnConference in Puerto Rico.”
